Research and Development

Ceramic Department CEREL leads scientific research in the field of obtaining modern ceramic materials, ranging from the powders production methods to precise mechanical processing of products after sintering. CEREL's scientific activity covers issues related to fuel cells, perovskite materials, oxygen membranes, refractory materials, advanced ceramics, ceramic cores, ceramic coatings, foundry filters and catalysts.

CEREL research and development department employees actively participate in the implementation of international research projects financed by European Union programs and nationally financed by the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Centre for Research and Development, the National Science Centre, as well as in implementation works for industry.

CEREL is equipped with modern devices and apparatus necessary to determine ceramic materials properties at every stage of their production: raw materials, powders, formed semi-products and materials after sintering.
